Melissa joined CDPHP in 2015 as a marketing assistant. Her love of project management led her to the product innovation department, where she’s a contract analyst who specializes in drafting, interpreting, analyzing, organizing, and overseeing the development of new and revised commercial employer/member contracts, amendments, and riders to ensure that all materials comply with federal and New York state laws and regulations, as well as internal underwriting and administrative guidelines. Melissa has a varied background that includes legal and aviation experience, as well as environmental research. In her free time, she serves on the CDPHP Foundation Charity of Choice Committee, supports the American Heart Association, rides her motorcycle, kayaks, white-water rafts, and bikes. Melissa also loves music, art, painting, upcycling wood furniture, trying new pursuits, and enjoying the simple things in life with her two children, Mason, 11 and Summer, 6.
