A ‘Selfie’ to Support Breast Cancer Awareness

No, it’s not about snapping a picture. Instead, we are encouraging women to do their monthly self-exam — their Healthy Selfie — to help detect the early signs of breast cancer.

On the 15th of every month, CDPHP will share the Healthy Selfie badge on our Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter pages as a reminder, and we are hoping others will join us to help raise awareness.

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Fortunately, the survival rate for early-stage breast cancer is 99 percent, according to the National Cancer Institute.

Share this pretty, pink badge on the 15th of every month as a reminder to the women in your life!
