A Regional Guide to Healthy Restaurants in Central New York

The heart of New York state may be known for its craft breweries, but it also boasts a large selection of unique eateries. Beardslee Castle, located in Little Falls, offers a menu with several vegetarian and vegan options, which can be enjoyed within the walls of a 150-year-old Irish/American castle. In addition to earth-friendly products and foods available through its health store, the Green Earth Health Market in Oneonta serves up a café menu that caters to vegetarians, vegans, those with celiac disease, and raw foodists.

We hope this guide serves as a helpful resource for meeting your dietary needs, or as a useful checklist for finding your family’s new go-to restaurant. Did we miss any of your favorite locations? Let us know! We would love to hear from you in the comment section below. Also, be sure to visit additional eateries in the Capital Region and the Hudson Valley. Happy and healthy dining!
