You’re Invited: Healthy Living Center Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

Join the Capital District YMCA, CDPHP^®, and Hannaford Supermarket as we celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Healthy Living Center on Saturday, October 25 from 10:30 am to 1:30 p.m. inside Hannaford, located at 900 Central Ave. in Albany.

The celebration will include an afternoon of fun and free activities, including:

• Chair massages
• Photo booth
• Samples and giveaways
• Tours and wellness demos
• Pumpkin decorating
• Goodie bags for the kids

One year ago, the Capital District YMCA, CDPHP, and Hannaford opened the Healthy Living Center with the goal of improving the health and wellness of the communities we serve. To date, more than 1,600 people have joined the Center and participated in hundreds of free classes, programs, and workshops.

The 5,277-square-foot Healthy Living Center offers a variety of programs that support community wellness, including group exercise classes, weight management classes, nutrition seminars, personal training, and senior fitness.

The Center also provides free, on-site assistance with health insurance needs. Visitors can meet face-to-face with a CDPHP representative to order new ID cards, ask questions about their benefits, find a doctor, schedule an appointment, and purchase health care coverage.
