Four New or Expanded Benefits for 2024

CDPHP is more than just your average health plan. In addition to coverage you can count on when you’re sick, you also have access to programs and services designed to help you and your family live your healthiest lives.

New for 2024, CDPHP members on most fully-insured commercial plans (those who have fully-insured coverage through their employer) have access to the exciting new benefits below.

If you’re unsure if these benefits apply to your plan, contact your in-house benefits team, check your member contract, or call the number on your ID card.

1. Prescription drug network

CDPHP is enhancing our pharmacy network to promote greater affordability while still offering members choice of pharmacy location. The 2024 prescription drug benefit features the CDPHP Preferred Rx Network, including pharmacies which have partnered with CDPHP to offer lower drug costs, as well as participation in the Rx for Less program (which offers dozens of medications for as low as a penny a pill) and other programs designed to control skyrocketing pharmacy trends. Members who fill prescriptions at non-preferred pharmacies will be subject to a 50 percent coinsurance.*

2. Mail order pharmacy

Optum Home Delivery Pharmacy has been added to the CDPHP network for pharmacy mail order services. Members now have access to Optum’s easy online experience to manage prescriptions, free shipping, 24/7 pharmacist support, an automated refill process, and more.

3. $0 prescription drugs for members under age 19

Get many of the medications your kids need at no added cost to you! There is no member cost-share for Tier 1 drugs from pharmacies in the Preferred Rx Network for members under age 19.**

4. Reimbursement for parent and baby classes

The CDPHP fitness reimbursement now allows you to get money back for parent and baby classes such as yoga, swim lessons, and more! As a reminder, the fitness reimbursement allows eligible subscribers to receive up for $400 back per plan year for qualified fitness expenses, and their covered dependents can be reimbursed up to a combined $200 – a total of $600 per contract. Other qualified expenses include gym memberships, youth sports fees, fitness classes, and wearable fitness devices.

*Does not apply to Standard plans.

**No out-of-pocket cost to members. Deductible applies to qualified high deductible plans. This benefit does not apply to Standard plans.
