Medicare 101 Seminars and Events Near You

“One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure.” – William Feather, publisher and author

Becoming eligible for Medicare often marks the beginning of a new season in life. Perhaps you’re getting ready to retire. Maybe you’re newly retired and filling your calendar with volunteerism, babysitting grandchildren, or midday tee times. Perhaps you’re strategizing how to spend your last few years on the job.

Whatever adventure you’re facing, at age 65, Medicare is there to help meet your health insurance needs. But navigating the system and knowing what you need to do and when you need to do it can be overwhelming: parts A, B, C, and D; three-month enrollment windows; penalties; Medicare Advantage; Original Medicare; prescription drug coverage; and a number of acronyms!

Don’t worry, CDPHP is here to help. All summer long, CDPHP representatives are hosting Medicare 101 seminars in communities from Queensbury to Delhi and points in between. You’ll learn about:

  • Medicare basics, including who is eligible
  • The different parts of Medicare (A, B, C, D) and what each part covers
  • How to enroll
  • Deductibles and costs
  • Supplemental coverage through Medicare Advantage
  • And more!

So find the seminar near you, and arm yourself with the knowledge you need to choose the right coverage for your life’s next adventure.
