Five New or Expanded Benefits for 2023

CDPHP is more than just your average health plan. In addition to coverage you can count on when you’re sick, you also have access to programs and services designed to help you and your family live your healthiest lives.

New for 2023, CDPHP members on most fully-insured commercial plans (those who have fully-insured coverage through their employer) have access to the exciting new benefits below.

If you’re unsure if these benefits apply to your plan, contact your in-house benefits team, check your member contract, or call the number on your ID card.

1. New digital wellness platform

The CDPHP Health Hub, powered by Virgin Pulse, gives you 24/7 access to powerful health and wellness resources from your smartphone or computer. By completing healthy activities and challenges, you can earn CDPHP Life Points Rewards* that can be redeemed for gift cards or merchandise. Download the Virgin Pulse app and enter CDPHP Fully Insured as your health plan to get started. You’ll earn points just for signing up!

2. Reimbursement for fitness trackers

The CDPHP fitness reimbursement now allows you to get money back for wearable fitness devices such as a Fitbit or an Apple Watch! Please note that while the maximum reimbursement amount is still $400 for subscribers and $200 combined for covered dependents, there is a cap ($200 subscribers/$100 combined covered dependents) on how much you can be reimbursed for wearable devices.

3. Doula services reimbursement

Members can be reimbursed up to $1,500 per pregnancy for services from a qualified doula.

4. No-cost virtual mental health care

Members ages 5 and above have access to mental health and substance use support from your smartphone, tablet, or computer at no cost** with aptihealth. You can receive goal-oriented online therapy from a licensed therapist and psychiatric prescriber (if needed) who are dedicated to your emotional health and wellness. CDPHP members can also receive virtual mental health services at no cost** with Doctor On Demand.

5. More ways to save on medications

Our Rx for Less program has more than doubled in size to include more pharmacies than ever. Rx for Less is a program for all members with a CDPHP prescription benefit, offering deep discounts on a specific list of generic drugs when purchased at ConnectRx, Price Chopper/Market 32, Walmart, Hannaford, ShopRite, Walgreens, RiteAid, Kinney Drugs, Stop & Shop, Giant Foods, Food Lion, and multiple independent pharmacies. Many generic prescription drugs are available for as little as a penny a pill!

*All adults ages 18 and older in select plans are eligible. Points accumulate per calendar year, per contract. Points must be redeemed by December 31 each year.

**No out-of-pocket cost to members. Deductible applies to qualified high deductible plans. This benefit does not apply to Standard plans.
