One woman’s journey to better mental health

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, more than 1 in 5 U.S. adults live with a mental illness—with women suffering at a rate far higher than men. Mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, and eating disorders are more prevalent for women, but help is available. Heather had battled mental illness. Courageously, she reached out to a CDPHP mental health provider, aptihealth, and began her path to wellness.

“Before aptihealth, I was in a very dark place.
I was barely able to get out of bed.”

Heather

“aptihealth has treated me as a unique individual. They’re actually invested in my health. I constantly feel safe. I feel provided for. I feel understood on such a significant level that it’s completely changed my life.”

CDPHP has teamed up with aptihealth to provide its members ages 5 and up with fast access to high-quality mental health care. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
